The Buenos Aires Half Marathon 2025 took place on Sunday, August 24, with start and finish lines at Avenida Figueroa Alcorta and Dorrego, organized by the Asociación Ñandú. The race brought together more than 20,000 runners and reaffirmed its status as the most popular half marathon in Latin America. The urban course, certified by World Athletics, passed through some of the city’s most iconic neighborhoods and featured cool, favorable weather conditions for competition. The day was historic not only because of Ugandan Jacob Kiplimo’s victory with a course record (58:29), but also due to Florencia Borelli’s South American record, as she was crowned Argentine champion with a time of 1:09:21.
