The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris 2025 took place this Sunday, April 13, with more than 50,000 participants lining the streets of the French capital. The event offered ideal running conditions, with cool temperatures and partly cloudy skies. The route, known for its beauty, runs past the city’s main monuments, including the Champs-Élysées, the Bastille, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the Bois de Boulogne.
This year, the course records set in previous editions (2:04:21 for men by Elisha Rotich in 2021 and 2:19:48 for women by Judith Jeptum in 2022) were not broken. Still, the men’s race was hotly contested, with first place decided by solid acceleration in the final kilometers.
